Tarasis Enterprises is proud to sponsor the Health & Wellbeing Award at the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council Community Awards 2026.

Taking place at the Seagoe Hotel, Portadown, on Friday 16 October, the awards will recognise the individuals and groups whose voluntary work makes a valuable contribution to community life across the borough.

The Health & Wellbeing Award celebrates groups working to improve physical and mental wellbeing within the council area. This includes initiatives promoting positive mental health, active lifestyles and healthy eating, alongside projects addressing poverty, social exclusion and other challenges affecting people’s quality of life.

Supporting this category closely reflects the values of Tarasis Enterprises and its work across healthcare, housing, support services and community initiatives. The organisation believes that meaningful, lasting change is created when businesses, voluntary groups and local communities work together.

That commitment to wellbeing also extends to the Tarasis team through Thrive & Vibe, its workplace wellbeing initiative. Monthly actions and reminders encourage colleagues to build small, sustainable habits that support their mental and physical wellbeing, from making time for self-care to creating healthier routines around rest and sleep. The initiative reinforces the importance of looking after ourselves as well as supporting those around us.

Through its sponsorship, Tarasis is pleased to help recognise the often-unseen dedication of local groups working every day to support others and strengthen the wellbeing of their communities.

The Community Awards feature 11 categories celebrating local volunteers, organisations and community champions who have gone above and beyond to make the borough a better place to live.

Tarasis looks forward to joining the nominees and fellow sponsors at the ceremony and celebrating the positive contribution being made across Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon.
