We are currently recruiting for a Community Manager to join our Tarasis Healthcare Division in Monaghan! Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm (Monday – Friday), plus oncall on a rota basis Location: Monaghan The Community Manager will plan, implement, and deliver a quality service to our service users in the community and will ensure the performance of care staff is monitored and maintained in accordance with Tarasis and regulatory bodies standards. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Service User:Set up new service user care plan within 2 working days and ensure all care staff and management information system is updated accordingly. Organise and complete the introduction of care staff to all new service users.Manage the amendments process ensuring that care plan is updated within 5 days, care staff is notified and OneTouch updated accordingly.Inform the service user if their care assistant is late or there is a change to their usual care assistant.Ensure smooth maintenance of existing business and identify areas of further development. Ensure budgeted hours are met and increased.Promoting Tarasis at all times and report on any potential new areas of business.Adhere to confidentially and protection of vulnerable adults/children policy at all times. Care Staff:Lead, support and develop a team of Care Assistants to deliver high-quality care. Assist with recruitment, induction and onboarding of new staff. Coordinate staff schedules and ensure continuity of care provision.Organise shadowing, mentoring and probation reviews for new employees. Conduct regular supervision meetings, performance reviews and annual appraisals. Manage disciplinary, investigatory and return-to-work processes where required. Ensure staff have appropriate PPE, training and support to carry out their roles safely and effectively. Facilitate team meetings and promote effective communication across the workforce. Other Duties: Respond immediately to enquiries from commissioner in relation to service user issues in conjunction with Quality Department Report and record all changes to service users’ wellbeingReport and record all complaints and adverse incidentsComplete KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and report to Line Manager at monthly meeting.To be available at varying times, which may include early morning and late evening work. The post holder may be required to work weekends and bank holidays when required.Maintain professional knowledge and competence on both company policies and procedures and regulatory standards.To carry out other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the post and the needs of the organisation to develop and maintain service delivery. What We Need From You: QQI Level 6 in Healthcare or Equivalent 1 year’s experience managing and leading teams Ability to maintain accurate records and care plans.Strong organisational and communication skills.Ability to work independently and use initiative.Strong team-working skills and ability to support colleagues.Competent IT skills.Excellent written and spoken English.Full current driving licence and access to a car.
