Tarasis Enterprises is proud to celebrate Founder and CEO, Mairead Mackle MBE, on receiving an Honorary Doctor of Science (DSc) from Ulster University in recognition of her outstanding contribution to business, entrepreneurship and social impact.
The honorary degree acknowledges Mairead’s leadership over more than three decades in building Tarasis Enterprises into a values-led family business, alongside her unwavering commitment to creating positive change within communities across Ireland.
Through initiatives including iCare, Evolve and the wider Tarasis Group, Mairead has consistently championed the belief that business should be a force for good—supporting individuals, empowering communities and creating opportunities for others to thrive.
Speaking following the award, Mairead described the recognition as a privilege and reflected on the collective efforts of colleagues, partners and the wider community who have contributed to the journey.
