Established in 2010, iCare was created from a simple belief: business can, and should be used as a force for good.

Part of the Tarasis Foundation, iCare Charity turns the resources, relationships and generosity of Tarasis Enterprises into practical support for individuals, families, communities and charitable organisations across Ireland and further afield.

Its core initiatives include iCare Wishes, supporting people facing difficult circumstances; iCare at Christmas, providing gifts and essentials to families; Our Community Cares, bringing local businesses together to create positive change; and Give an Hour, through which Tarasis colleagues donate the equivalent of one hour of their annual salary.

Previous campaigns have included £10,000 raised for the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust in memory of Sean McConville, alongside direct support for individuals and families where practical assistance can make a meaningful difference.

iCare’s current Destination Anywhere campaign is raising funds for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland and Make-A-Wish Ireland. For £10, entrants have the chance to win £3,000 towards a holiday of their choice or take the £3,000 cash alternative. The prize is fully funded by iCare, meaning every pound raised through ticket sales goes directly to the two charities. You can enter here for your chance to win.

Janine McNally, Executive Office Manager at Tarasis Enterprises and co-founder of iCare, said:

“The support we provide may look different each time, but the purpose remains the same: to respond where the need is greatest in a way that is personal, practical and compassionate. None of it would be possible without the generosity of our Tarasis colleagues, partners and wider community.”

Individuals can contact iCare directly for support or reach out through a trusted school, church or local charity. Every request is considered carefully, guided by empathy, kindness and where the need is greatest.
